What certificate will I receive?

Each participant who’s completed the course in full will be awarded a Certificate of Completion. If you’ve completed at least 75% of the course, you’ll be given a Letter of Participation. These documents will be emailed as a PDF a few weeks after the course ends. These certificates will include the course name, your name, the date, weeks and hours of the course.

Is the course approved for CPD in Australia?

Our Motivational Interviewing online courses are likely to be worth CPD hours (Continuing Professional Development). AHPRA is the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and governs multiple occupations including psychologists, doctors and nurses. These professions are required in Australia to complete a certain amount of CPD hours annually. How they claim the CPD hours varies by profession and is not a process that Psychwire is involved in. The different governing bodies underneath the AHPRA umbrella have their own specific set of guidelines to be followed by their members. Is there certification required for Motivational Interviewing?

At this time, there’s no Motivational Interviewing certification process. Therapists can train in Motivational Interviewing and continue to learn more through workshops, online courses, books, networking, joining Motivational Interviewing organisations etc. You can also be listed as ‘Motivational Interviewing Trained’ on therapist databases.

Is the course approved for CPD in the UK?

The Motivational Interviewing - Brief Interventions in Health Care course is approved by the UK & International Health Coaching Association (UKIHCA) (formerly UK Health Coaches Association) for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). When can I use a discount coupon code?
