Your Pathway to Certification

Your journey toward certification begins with a DBT Comprehensive course. This is the foundation for building the knowledge and skills needed to deliver DBT with confidence and fidelity.

From there, the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification guides clinicians through a rigorous but supportive process to ensure they can apply DBT effectively and in line with the model as it was researched. Programs are also evaluated to confirm they have the right structure and supports in place to offer DBT with integrity. You can learn more about their certification process here.
