Kim Walton is an AMSR Lead Trainer at the Zero Suicide Institute in Indiana and an expert in suicide awareness and prevention. A clinical nurse specialist, she has over 30 years of experience in health and behavioral health nursing and extensive expertise in implementing the Zero Suicide model. As an AMSR (Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk) Lead Trainer, Kim conducts Train the Trainer courses in all AMSR curricula. She is particularly interested in the intersection of suicide prevention, trauma-informed care and substance use.
